In the days before everybody had a home PC or printer it was common for job applicants to 'get a CV or Resume done' at a secretarial bureau. This set the bar for marketing yourself to an employer very low. Sure the CV or Resume was set out nicely and the most obvious spelling mistakes and typos were avoided, but the process was not led by a professional job marketer. There were professional Resume or CV writers of course, but it was rare for most people to even consider retaining one.
Beyond basic craft skills
Getting to interview is a challenge, and the greater the competition the harder it is. Importantly, writing a Resume or CV requires marketing skills in addition to secretarial and writing abilities. This is equally the case for entry-level, internship and returning to work applications as it is for high-fliers.
How we help clients to market themselves
The role of a CV or Resume author is to provide as close a match as possible between an employer's needs and the skills, knowledge, experience and energy of an applicant. And to distil this into a compelling elevator pitch. In marketing terms, the CV author has to 'position' the candidate as a person worthy of being shortlisted. To do this, basic marketing principles apply. Clearly emphasise the benefits the client will bring to the position; write in terms that directly address the employer's needs; respond to each element of the selection criteria.
For the job applicant, this may be the best investment they will ever make. What else in your life typically costs hundreds and can routinely generate hundreds of thousands?
Members of the C-suite know the value of professional help. Senior managers routinely spend a small fortune on advisors to attract and secure the right candidates for key positions. We aim to level the playing field by equipping job applicants with a suite of expert services to significantly increases the chances of gaining an interview.

Application for certification has been overwhelming, and is by invitation only at this time. However, Education Services are provided that lead to various tiers of certification.
The problem we address
This is twofold. First, the role a talented CV or Resume Author plays is typically undervalued. Second, this is understandable given the variable standards offered by unqualified service providers and 'Resume Mills'.
We aim to properly and diligently certify practitioners as genuine professionals. There are other certification bodies, but our focus is upon improving, and the setting the standards for, Job Candidate Marketing Practice. We will not be fully certifying people with basic craft skills which is the general practice.
